On Tuesday, August 25, Lager 157 Ski Team hosts the Bjursås Hill Climb, a roller-ski uphill race in Dalarna, in partnership with Barncancerfonden (the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund). Wsportsmedia holds the global streaming rights.

The race brings together 20-year-old Alvar Myhlback, the youngest-ever Vasaloppet champion and one of Swedish skiing's biggest names, and 37-year-old World Cup veteran Calle Halfvarsson, in a true hometown duel: Myhlback grew up in Bjursås, while Halfvarsson comes from Sågmyra, part of the greater Bjursås community.

The race is part of Lager 157's "Double Poling Hill Climb" concept, previously held in Grönklitt, and returns now that the team is holding its first training camp in Bjursås.

"We wanted to bring some roller-ski excitement to Bjursås now that we're holding our first training camp in Alvar's home village. It's a relaxed, training-style race, the kind of thing we love doing together with recreational skiers and young athletes," says Anton Järnberg, Pro Team Director at Lager 157 Ski Team.
